Some great shots from Goon have been put up over at MTV.com, there’s one below (pardon the tag, trying to find a better copy!).

“Doug isn’t about winning,” Baruchel said. “Doug is about doing what you need to do in a given time and finding what you are good at and finding what you’re meant to do. In some ways it’s a fairly… anti-sports movie because there’s no — well, I don’t want to give too much away, but it doesn’t have all the clichés that those movies usually have.”

Sorry I haven’t been around much lately, recently my mother collapsed and had to be taken to the ICU a few cities away. She’s still in a somewhat critical condition and it’s unfortunately making it hard for me to keep up with my web life – I will try harder to make time!

Sean William Scott and Jay Baruchel are lacing up their skates for “Goon,” an indie hockey comedy. Alison Pill and Marc-Andre Grondin also are jumping onto the ice for the movie, which begins shooting in Winnipeg mid-October with Michael Dowse behind the camera.
