According to Reuters Canada, Jay and Maury Chaykin will be co-starring on the Drunk and On Drugs Happy Funtime Hour, but it didn’t say when (if anyone does find out when the listing is, please let me know!), here’s what they had to say:

Jay Baruchel and Maury Chaykin are to guest-star on the new Canadian sitcom “The Drunk and on Drugs Happy Funtime Hour.”

The series stars Robb Wells, John Paul Tremblay and Mike Smith, better known as Ricky, Julian and Bubbles of the mockumentary “Trailer Park Boys” that ran on Canada’s Showcase cable channel between 2001 and 2007. The trio also produced two “Trailer Park Boys” theatrical features in 2006 and 2009.

Showcase has ordered six half-hours of “Happy Funtime Hour,” which sees Wells, Tremblay and Smith playing 24 characters as the cast of fictional TV show upended by a wacky German scientist played by Chaykin. The series is shooting in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Baruchel, an Ottawa native, was recently in theaters with “She’s Out of My League.” Chaykin played a Harvey Weinstein-esque character on “Entourage.”
