News: Jay and Alison Pill Deep in Wedding Planning
September 11, 2011 | Listed Under: Jay, News
Great article with interview snippets from Jay, his lovely bride to be, the talented Alison Pill and Goon star Sean Williams-Scott ( they have a fabulous pic of Jay there, too, so you have to go check it out!):
Baruchel said he knew from the instant he met Pill that he wanted to marry her. When she first arrived on set, there were a few days where she had little to do — and the 29-year-old Baruchel saw an opportunity.
“I was like: ‘When else will I have a spare three 12-hour days in a row where she has no choice but to listen to me?’ I (thought): ‘I am milking this, I am hitting on her.’”

News: Jay Joins ‘Cosmopolis’ Cast
April 13, 2011 | Listed Under: Featured, Film, News
Bit late with this (thanks Sheila for sending it in!), and if it’s true it’s fabulous news – MTV reports that Jay has joined Robert Pattinson (and a rumored Keira Knightley, though that is a fairly far fetched rumor) as cast for upcoming Cosmopolis (IMDB confirms for now):
The actor, who turns 29 on April 9, can add “Cosmopolis” to his growing list of projects, which includes the sequel to “How to Train Your Dragon” and the hockey comedy “Goon”.
What do you think? Does Cosmopolis sound interesting to you?

News: Jay and Alison Pill To Wed?
March 11, 2011 | Listed Under: Featured, Interviews, Jay, News
I have no idea if this is true (sorry, I’ve been so busy lately!) but according to Just Jared Jay is engaged to adorable, talented and gorgeous Scott Pilgrim actress Alison Pill in September of 2012:
“[Alison] came to Montreal for Christmas and my gift to her was…I was going to give her a ring and I wasn’t sure, I wasn’t ready in my heart to say what it was, but it was just a ring for now – happened to be a 180 year old Victorian wedding band from England!” Jay said.
Jay and Alison, 25, plan to marry in September of 2012.
If anyone can confirm this (a link to the ET Canada video would be much appreciated!), please let me know via the comments because currently the news submitter isn’t working right. If it is true, congratulations to both of them, JBF wishes them all the happiness in the world!

News: How to Train Your Dragon Sequel Details
February 10, 2011 | Listed Under: Featured, Film, News
I’ve posted updates about this recently, and I’m sure everyone’s as excited as I am to hear that How To Train Your Dragon will only be the first in a Viking trilogy, but even better! ComingSoon.net has some insight into the next film from Dean DeBlois (who co-directed with Chris Sanders, both of these talented men are the genius force behind Lilo & Stitch) and producer Bonnie Arnold.
“As we head into this one,” he explains, “the world expands. Everything is much bigger with still the heartfelt qualities that made the first one resonate so much with audiences. There are no longer restrictions to this tiny island in the North Sea. They have the entire Northern hemisphere within their grasp.”
They expect the film to arrive sometime in 2013 – can’t wait!
